09 May Myshkin

Walking city tour with the visit to the museum of “Russian valenki” exposition “Russian linen”, exposition “Granary mice”, local history museum, “miller’s house” with folklore (B;L;D)

10 May Plyos & Kostroma  

The town of Plyos was founded in the 12th century as a military fortress. The first mentioning of Plyos dates to 1141. In 1888-90 the renowned Russian landscape artist Isaac Levitan works at Plyos. His "Plyos period" work attracts attention to the town and from that period on Plyos becomes a favorite dacha place (Vacation home) for many Moscovites. A walking tour will introduce us to the town of Plyos.  Kostroma an old Russian city that has retained its original 18th century street plan commissioned by the Ekaterina the Geat, Our tour will include the Museum of Wooden Architecture and the 14th century Ipatyevsky Monastery. 11 - 12 Nizni Novgorod

Nizni Novgotrod dates back to 1221. We will visit the local Kremlin and its cathedrals.

13 May Yaroslavl   

Yaroslavl, founded in the 11th century by Prince Yaroslav the Wise. It is renowned for its numerous 17th-century churches. The Historical Centre of the City of Yaroslavl is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. We will start with the city tour and explore the Spassky Monastery complex and church of Elijah the Prohet.The visit to the local food market will end our tour. (B;L;D)

 

14 May Uglich

Our tour will explore Cathedral of the Transfiguration and walk trough the Church of Prince Dimitri.(B;L;D)

15 - 16 May Moscow

We will start our introduction to Moscow with Red Square and the St. Basil's Cathedral.

Next day we will Tour the Kremlin and its cathedrals and the famous Armory collection of Imperial Era regalia. In the Diamond Fund, see the diamond-encrusted coronation crown of Catherine the Great and the 190-carat Orlov diamond. (B;L;D)

17 May Moscow
