(3 1/2 hours) Your tour begins with a drive through Philipsburg, the capital of Dutch St.
Maarten, en route to the south coast of the island to join the party boat Explorer. On
your cruise across scenic Simpson Bay Lagoon, the Captain will highlight the points of
interest. The first stop is Marigot, the capital of French St. Martin, with its
Parisian shops, boutiques and outdoor cafes. Before returning to the ship, there is time
to swim and relax beneath the swaying palms on a private beach island.
Pinel Island Snorkeling Tour

(3 hours) Travel across the island to the scenic French side where a water taxi will take
you to beautiful Pinel Island.
Expert instructors will provide you with equipment before guiding
you through the spectacular undersea world. Shallow or deep water, there is plenty to see.
Afterwards, relax or sunbathe on the sandy beaches.
St. Maarten Island Tour

(2 1/4 hours) The perfect way to see the highlights of this half French, half Dutch
Island. Driving along Perimeter Road, you will arrive at Lookout Point for a magnificent
view of the western side of the island. Crossing the border, you will stop at the French
capital of Marigot. Here you can stroll by the Parisian boutiques, outdoor cafes, and
quaint streets. On your way to Simpson Bay Lagoon for refreshments, you will pass by the
resort hotels. The tour ends in Philipsburg where you may opt to shop or continue back to
the ship (return transportation on your own).
Scuba Adventure

(2 1/2 hours) A chance to explore the warm waters of the Caribbean. At Pinel
Island, you will be outfitted before embarking on a guided tour with the dive instructors
through the underworld of coral reefs inhabited by tropical fish, conch and lobster.

Shipwreck Cove Boat Snorkeling
Tour

(3 hours) Board a spacious customized boat for a scenic ride across the harbor to
Shipwreck Cove for a snorkeling adventure. The instructors will provide you with equipment
and instruction before guiding you through an undersea world of sunken ships inhabited by
schools of tropical fish which you can feed. Or you may opt to stay on board and dance to
Calypso music or sunbathe out on deck.

completely outfitted and receive instruction from expert instructors, as you dive
Shipwreck Cove, an underworld of tropical marine life, coral reefs and sunken wrecks.

Butterfly Farm and Marigot

(3 1/2 hours) Before arriving at Butterfly Farm, you will be given a narrated tour through
the Dutch and French side of the island with photo stops along the way. The farm is a
large enclosed, specially created area of beautiful landscaped tropical gardens, pools,
waterfalls and hundreds of the worlds most rare and exotic butterflies flying freely
around. The guide will identify species, point out the spectacular courtship and mating
process and give advise on butterfly gardening. There will be plenty of time to wander on
your own before a short stop in Marigot where you will experience a blend of Creole charm
and French atmosphere.
