Island Power Boats

(4 1/2 hours) Upon arrival at the dock in Christiansted, power boats will take you
to Buck Island for hours of great snorkeling. After being outfitted and given instruction
by the expert staff, you will be guided through a marked underwater trail. On the return
back to Christiansted, relax and enjoy a rum punch. Christiansted Shopping

(3 hours) You will be transferred by bus to Christiansted for a 1 hour shopping stop. Maps
for selfguided walking tours will be provided. Should you wish to stay longer, return
transportation will be on your own.
St. Croix Island Tour

(4 hours) Depart for a short ride along the beach to the rain forest where you can
observe the lush tropical vegetation. Next is Sugar Bay where Columbus landed in 1493 and
then to the town of Christiansted for a 1 hour shopping spree. Continue on to the Cruzan
Rum Distillery for a mini tour and the opportunity to sample the rum drink of the day.
Before returning to the ship, a final stop is made at Whim Greathouse, an old
plantation estate converted into a museum of local artifacts.

PADI dive masters will accompany you and point out the unique marine life, large coral

Pedal
Through Paradise Tour
Price per person: $49.00
(2 1/2 hours) After meeting your guide on the Frederiksted Pier and outfitted with bikes
and safety gear, you will be led through town, stopping at interesting historical sites.
Then your 12 mile tour begins along the western coast, passing by many points of interest,
including ruins, the tropical rain forest and Sprat Hall, a restored 1670 Great House, now
being run as a Bread and Breakfast.

breathtaking scenery before arriving at Sandy Point where you will anchor for one hour of
swimming or sunbathing along the 3 mile beach. Or just kick back, and relax and enjoy the

Frederiksted Highlights and
Botanical Garden Tour
Price per person: $36.00
(3 hours) The picturesque town of Frederiksted is listed in the National Register of
historic places and the best way to learn about its rich and colorful history is to enjoy
this guided walking tour. Your friendly guide will share legends and tidbits as he points
out the 18th and 19th century Danish architecture, the historic homes, churches, Fort
Frederick and the 1751 Market Square. Leaving town, you will drive through the rain forest
to visit an environmental arts project where local mahogany wood is handcrafted and sold.
To complete the tour, you will visit St. George's Botanical Garden, a 17acre park that was
built over a PreColumbian Indian settlement, showcasing over 800 species of exotic
tropical plants and the ruins of a 19th century sugar mill and rum factory.
Natural History Hike
Price per adult: $40.00 child: $32.00 (ages 10-12)
(2 hours) Your hike through a 225 acre preserve will be fun and informative. The walk
starts at Butler Bay, where 30 different species of birds have been observed. Then to the
estate Mount Washington Plantation. The ruins of this estate were buried in the rain
forest and only just discovered in 1984, at which time restoration was begun. A steep
mountain climb will give you a panoramic view of Frederiksted Harbour and Sandy Point
Beach. Your hike ends at Estate Butler Bay. All along the way, your guide will share with
you the folklore of the island.
