Historic Homes/Eco Tour

(2 hours) Your guided tour will start at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park, a historic fort built in 1845. The fort was an important outpost during the Civil War for the Union, where numerous ships were detained in the harbor and guarded by the fort's cannons.  The fort again was used during the Spanish-American War. Then on to Ernest Hemingway's Home and Museum where you will have ample time to view the beautiful Spanish Colonial home with its antique furniture brought from Spain by Hemingway himself. The last stop will be to the Audobon House and Tropical Gardens, a beautiful 1840's home with nearly 1-acre of tropical gardens. The house features 18th and 19th century antiques and 28 original Audobon engravings. The tour will end in
Old Town Key West where you can take the Conch Train back to the ship or venture on your own to the famous Duval Street famed for its many stores and bars.
