Island Tour

(2 1/2 hours) As your tour of this Dutch Island begins, you'll travel through
Willemstad, passing the large water desalination plant, across the Queen Juliana Bridge
with a picturesque view of the city and harbour. Your first stop is Chobolobo, an old
colonial mansion where the original Curacao Liqueur is still distilled today in 100 year
old bins. Then onto Brievengat, one of the most beautiful old country homes. The last stop
is a visit to the seaquarium. On the return to the ship, the bus passes through town where
you may opt to stay (return transportation on your own). Snorkel Excursion

(2 1/2 hours) You will be taken to a sunken tugboat located at the Underwater Park
in the National Park of Curacao. Here you will be overwhelmed by schools of Angel and
Parrot fish swimming about as if you are part of their world. Snorkel equipment will be
provided.
Willemstad Walking Tour

(2 hours) Take an easy walk across the famous Pontoon Bridge to the
"Punda" side of Willemstad. You'll visit Fort Amsterdam, the Governor's
residence and the site of the Protestant Church, dating back to 1736. On to Wilhelmina
Park and the Waterfront Arches, a promenade with seaside cafes and shops. You will pass by
the floating market and main street shopping center. The final stop is the Mikve Israel
Synagogue, the oldest in the western hemisphere.
Barbara Beach Swim Tour

(3 1/2 hours) You will join Curacao's affluent for a slow cruise on the Spanish
Waters, gliding past hilltop mansions and plush waterfront homes. You will enjoy cold
drinks on board as you sail to Barbara Beach, the most beautiful part of Curacao, with its

Island Country Drive

(3 1/2 hours) This tour will take you to the back country, first passing by Juliana
Dorp, the village of the former Shell Refinery executives. Next is the Museum of Natural
History where you can admire the history of this island. Then to Boca Tabla, where the
awesome force of the waves crushing against the coral formed the Boca Tabla Caves. Before
returning to the ship, you will pass by Knip Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in
Curacao and the Salt Flats of Jan Kok. |
Hato
Caves and Liqueur Factory Tour

(3 hours) Marvel at the stalagmites and stalactites of the Hato Caves, one of the largest
caves in the Caribbean. From there a stop will be made at Landhouse Brievengal, a 200 year
old plantation house with a magnificent collection of antiques showing the lifestyle of
centuries past. Afterwards, the world famous Curacao Liqueur Factory where the original
Liqueur is made from ALaraha@ orange peels.
NOTE: Strenuous walking up inclines and steps at the caves; comfortable
walking shoes recommended. Hato Caves and Seaquarium Tour

(3 hours) Marvel at the stalagmites and stalactites of the Hato Caves, one of the largest
caves in the Caribbean. Then off to the Curacao Seaquarium where you can see the island's
underwater treasures, more than 400 varieties of exotic fish and vegetation found in the
waters near Curacao. This is the only public aquarium where sea creatures are raised and
nurtured totally by natural methods.

Christoffel Park Mountain
Biking Tour

(3 1/2 hours) After being outfitted with a bike, safety helmet and instruction, your guide
will take you on an 8 mile (1 1/2 hour) ride through Christoffel Park, Curacao's national
park, where you will view a large variety of flora and fauna that you won't find elsewhere

(3 1/2 hours) Meet Curacao=s most curious inhabitant imported from Africa, the Ostrich!
Curacao has one of the largest ostrich farms in the Caribbean used for breeding purposes
for export all over the world. Next stop is to Dina Veeri=s famous herb garden, where you
will learn the different uses and superstitions of the many varieties of herbs. On the way
back to town, you will see small slave huts, Table Mountain, and drive through Jan Thiel,
better known as the playground of the rich and famous.
