 A native of Illinois, Tracy Ferguson graduated from the University of
Illinois with a degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies. Shortly after
graduating she moved to Miami, where she was initiated into the travel
business as a reservation agent for Eastern Airlines. Eventually she moved
to Houston and became a travel agent some 30 years ago. She specializes in
travel to Mexico, Latin America, and the Caribbean and has visited virtually
every major island in the Caribbean. She is especially enthusiastic about
cruising, having been on 18 cruises, and she has also visited much of
interior Mexico including a few places most of us have never heard of.
Tracy has been a member of the Caribbean Tourism
Organization for over 15 years. She maintains and increases her knowledge of
the various Caribbean islands by attending the organization’s monthly
seminars. Tracy is a Institute of Certified Travel Agents Caribbean
Destination Specialist and is a Accredited Cruise Counselor
and hopes to ultimately become a Master Cruise Counselor. .
